The Director of Faculty Affairs is responsible for the integral oversight of and responsibility for promotion and tenure, emeritus faculty, and voluntary faculty. This position will work closely with the Center for Human  and  Organizational Potential staff and human resources regarding trainings, onboarding, annual reviews, coaching, and mentorship. The Director of Faculty Affairs is also responsible for working collaboratively with departments to maximize promotion and tenure processes, including but not limited to faculty development and staff development.  This position will coordinate faculty recognition and awards.

  1. MD and/or PhD degree
  2. Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented and minority populations
  3. 5 years’ experience with adult educational programs in complex organizations, preferably medical and/or educationally focused
  4. A demonstrated ability to understand and work effectively with the various interrelationships present in an academic healthcare setting
  5. Strong project management skills.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
