Employee works directly with supervisor(s) to accomplish desired results within a clinical area. This individual utilizes independent judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve routine operational issues and routinely offer suggestions to improve clinic operations. In addition, the charge nurse will provide direct supervision for other medical team members (charge nurses, clinic nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and healthcare technicians}, as well as residents and medical students rotating through the resident clinics in Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Sign-On Bonus: Now offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 2 year employment commitment for candidates identified for hire before June 30th!


Salary:  $5,665.33/month

Read the Position Description

1)  Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois; AND

2)  a.  Bachelor degree in nursing or health related field in combination with 2 years supervisory/administrative experience in a health care field; or

      b.  4 years of supervisory/administrative experience in a health care field; AND

3)  2 years of work experience as a Registered Professional Nurse

Condition of Employment:  Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, an out-of-state resident who is hired into this position must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of their start date.
