These positions are generally used to provide nursing duties in an outpatient clinic by a Practical Nurse licensed by the IL Department of Professional Regulation.  (Note: We are not currently using entry level LPN's on campus; must have 6 months experience)
Types of positions for which this temporary employment category may be used include: 

  • Licensed Practical Nurse

Minimum Qualifications vary based upon type of position.  Hourly Salaries also vary based upon type of position but generally range from $13.57-17.14/hour.

1)  Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation; AND

2)  6 months of nursing experience in a health care facility (such as a hospital, nursing home, medical clinic, prison, mental health facility, or closely related facilities)
