This position will have responsibilities in administration, teaching, research and medical service as they pertain to the general mission of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and the specific needs of the Department of Neurology, Springfield Memorial Hospital, Decatur Memorial Hospital and St. John’s Hospital. This faculty member will provide care for critically ill patients with neurologic and neurosurgical illnesses and will serve as a member of the multidisciplinary neurocritical care or stroke teams at SMH and DMH.

  2. Board certified or board eligible in Neurology and
  3. Board certified or board eligible in Neurocritical care or Vascular Neurology.
  4. Licensed as a physician in the state of Illinois.
  5. To become credentialed at Springfield Memorial Hospital (SMH), Decatur Memorial Hospital (DMH) and St. John’s Hospital.
