This position provides clinical support to the patients of SIU Family and Community Medicine-Quincy. The majority of 
time is spent in the capacity of Healthcare Technician where patient care is given within the clinic. This position must work closely with faculty, residents, staff and patients to ensure an efficient operation. 

Salary:  $15.00/hour

Read the Position Description

1)  High school graduate or equivalent; AND
2)  Any one or any combination totaling six (6 months) from the following categories:

a)   Six (6) months of work experience in direct patient care in a healthcare setting or equivalent
b)  College course work in related field as measured by the following conversation table or its proporational equivalent (30 semester hours equals six (6) months)

 

  • Familiar with clinic setting preferred. 
  • Team player with excellent customer service and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work closely with faculty, staff, residents, and patients to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. 
  • Detail-oriented and consistent follow through with provider instructions. 
  • Ability to learn electronic health record system.
