The primary purpose is to support and assist the Division of Clinical Psychology and the Psychiatry-Jacksonville providers as well as the other faculty members in the department. This shall include coordination of supportive and clinical services, as well as coordination of teaching and research efforts. This position is also intended to coordinate and integrate activities of the division with other activities in the Department of Psychiatry.

Salary: $22.96/hour

1)  High School graduate or equivalent; AND

2)  Any one, or any combination, of the following:

 

a.  24 months of clerical/office support work experience comparable to that performed at the Office Manager level of this series or in other positions of comparable responsibility performing duties including, but not limited to, serving as liaison between supervisor and staff of external units; accompanying the supervisor and/or attending meetings, participating as requested; coordinating logistical arrangements relating to conferences, meetings, and travel for supervisor; and composing correspondence, memos, and reports that represent the supervisor's position; or

 

b.  48 months of clerical/office support work experience comparable to that performed at the Office Support Specialist level of this series or in other positions of comparable responsibility performing duties including, but not limited to, maintaining a calendar or operating or administrative commitments and notifying the supervisor and/or affected staff of deadlines; gathering, providing, and interpreting information through the identification and selection of appropriate sources; coordinating unit operational projects, meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements and monitoring and expediting progress; and initiating contacts to clarify subjective information
