Provide operational support and conduct academic and clinical research activities in the Center for Clinical Research (CCR) and participate in research projects for other Departments, as appropriate. May be responsible for the supervision of research projects in the CCR including providing support, guidance, and oversight concerning the conduct of clinical research activities. This position requires a strong understanding of IRB and regulatory policies and the guidelines that govern clinical research activities. This position reports to the Director of the CCR and/or their designate.

1.   Bachelor’s degree.

2.   Minimum of 2 (two) years clinical research related experience, with a successful and progressive history of increasing clinical research related responsibility (Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience).

3.   Certified Clinical Research Coordinator/Professional through completion of requirements by SOCRA or ACRP within one (1) year of obtaining the position OR within one year of eligibility to sit for the exam.

      4.   Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.
