The function of this position is to manage all fiscal activities of the Offices of the Dean and Provost, Finance and Administration, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Compliance and External Relations. Responsibilities include managing payables, receivables, reporting requirements, work requests, benefit reporting and purchase requisitions. The position is also responsible for budget functions, including posting entity and operating budget data, reconciling reports, reviewing budget request documents, and preparing reports for management.

Salary:  $5,061.77/month

1)  A.  Bachelor's degree in accountancy, business administration, management, or closely related field; OR
     B.  Three (3) years (36 months) of work experience in accounting, business administration, fiscal management, or closely related  experience;  OR
     C.  A combination of related education and/or work experience totaling three (3) years (36 months), as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:

a.  30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
b.  60 semester hours or an Associate's Degree equals eighteen months (18 months)
c.  90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)

AND

2)  Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience in accounting, business administration, financial operations, fiscal management, or closely related experience, including one (1) year (12 months) of which is at a supervisory or administrative level.
NOTE:  A Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.

Condition of Employment:  Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, an out-of-state resident who is hired into this position must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of their start date.
