This position will be responsible for the administration and development of research, outreach, and educational programs within Center for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (CADRD) and the Memory and Aging Network. The area of Community Engagement covers research, education, outreach, and Beyond the Medical Center programs. The faculty member will also function as the Director of Community Engagement and is responsible for the administration and development of research, outreach, and educational programs within CADRD and the Memory and Aging Network. These programs are directed at physicians, residents, medical students, other healthcare professionals and the public, including dementia patients and their caregivers. The Director of Community Engagement may be assigned to appropriate faculty committees within the SOM and may receive other state and community appointments as they pertain to the mission and interests of the Center.

  1. PhD in Sociology, Psychology, Epidemiology, Medical Anthropology, or related social/behavioral sciences with at least two years of postdoctoral training appropriate to their area of specialization.
