The Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, Illinois, is seeking a full-time Non-invasive Cardiologist faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine. Clinical service includes inpatient consultative service and outpatient Cardio clinic. Comprehensive benefit package includes pension programs and professional liability coverage. 

Read the Position Description

  1. Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.
  2. Graduate of accredited medical school program.
  3. Graduate of formal specialty training program in Cardiology.
  4. Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or eligibility for ABIM.
  5. Diplomate of the American Board of Cardiology Medicine or eligibility for Cardiology Board.
  6. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois or Licensed by the State of Illinois prior to employment.
  7. Experience providing services to multicultural populations.
  8. Experience dealing with underrepresented minority populations.
  • Experience working in an academic environment, both inpatient and outpatient settings.
