      Overview:

      Under long-range administrative direction, the Director of Quality Management and Operational Excellence (QMOE) serves in a senior management role in the Office of Correctional Medicine (OCM) as the manager and supervisor of quality management and operational excellence programming. This position will take ownership of key strategic alliances on behalf of the OCM, clearly organize priorities and deliverables, and bring measurable impact on time and within budget allocation. The Director of QMOE will actively manage ongoing quality management programming with a drive to succeed and laser like focus on results. Including but not limited to, this position will define, design and implement robust quality management programs such business process engineering/reengineering, continuous process improvement, specific measurement goals and KPIs, service delivery surveillance, corrective and preventative action plans, data collection and analysis, cost effective quality service delivery, etc. Within OCM QMOE’s organizational structure, monitors and reports on comprehensive quality assurance and improvement programming, including clinical measurement and reporting, compliance, and accreditation. Identifies opportunities for improvement, training and skill development on an ongoing basis. Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business.
